Borussia Dortmund land Andre Schurrle
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of former Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle. The German has inked a five-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
The 25-year-old joined Wolfsburg from Chelsea in 2015, after he struggled to cement a regular role at Stamford Bridge.
He followed to have a similar trend at the Wolves with the likes of Bas Dost and Max Kruse competing for the lone role upfront.
BVB had been on hot on the trail of the attacker in recent weeks, and it is now official that the player has linked up with the Dortmund-based club.
"Borussia Dortmund is one of the top clubs in Europe with a strong and extremely exciting squad," Schurrle was quoted as saying following his move. "In the coming years I want to celebrate success with Borussia Dortmund and [hope] to convince people that it was right to sign me."
Thomas Tuchel's side have paid a fee of around £25m for the German international.
