Liverpool lining up Alexandre Lacazette move?
Liverpool are reported to be weighing up a summer bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The France international has been long linked with a Premier League move with Arsenal being his main suitors.
According to The Telegraph, the Reds will make a move for the Frenchman this summer with Lyon open to parting ways with their lead man.
Lacazette has been a consistent performer for Les Gones in recent seasons, but he is now said to be prepared for a fresh challenge abroad.
La Liga Atletico Madrid are said to be favourites to sign the forward this summer, but they could face competition with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on the player.
Lyon had previously snubbed a £40m approach from Arsene Wenger's side last year, and they are likely to demand in excess of £60m for the in-form marksman.
Lacazette has already netted 21 goals in Ligue 1 this term, and he looks set to achieve his ambition of a 30-goal tally in the domestic league.
