Chelsea ready to sell Batshuayi to sign this striker
Premier League toppers Chelsea are prepared to part ways with Michy Batshuayi in a deal which could see Romelu Lukaku rejoin the club.
Lukaku, 23, has been a huge hit for Everton since his move from Stamford Bridge in 2013 - initially on a one-year loan contract.
A report from The Mirror claims that the Blues could seek to sign their former player in the summer with Antonio Conte wanting a fresh striker in his ranks.
Summer recruit Michy Batshuayi has failed to convince Conte of his credentials despite his goalscoring exploits at former club Marseille, and he could be offered as makeweight in a move for Lukaku this summer.
Lukaku has recently turned down a fresh long-term deal at Goodison Park, and the Toffees could favour a part-exchange agreement with the Blues willing to pay an additional £40m for his transfer.
The former Blues ace is currently leading the scoring charts in the top flight with 21 goals to his name. He recently became the first Everton player to net over 20 goals in the Premier League era.
