England international Jack Wilshere will push for a move away from the Emirates, should Arsene Wenger remain in charge beyond the current campaign.

The 25-year-old struggled to attain a regular spot during the start of the campaign, and this urged him to accept a temporary challenge with Bournemouth.

Since then, Wilshere has been a regular fixture in Eddie Howe's side barring the last couple of games where he has been benched in favour of Benik Afobe upfront.

According to The Sun, the midfielder will seek to pursue a move to AC Milan in the summer, if Wenger fails to promise playing time for the next season and beyond.

Wenger is due to pen a new contract extension, as per sources, and this could in hand hamper Wilshere, whose contract runs out in the summer of 2018.

The Stevenage-born ace had previously been approached by the Rossoneri last year, but he opted to test himself at Dean Court where he has made a good impression.
