Morata snubs EPL interest for AC Milan move
Italy international Alvaro Morata has decided to snub advances from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in order to pursue a move back to the Serie A.
The Spain international has managed to net a tally of 15 La Liga goals this term despite playing second fiddle to fellow striker Karim Benzema for the role up front.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the marksman has opted to knock back Premier League interest with a view to linking up with AC Milan in the summer.
The Rossoneri are currently managed by a new Chinese consortium, and they are said to be ambitious to take the club to the Champions League at the least via the league next season.
Milan are understood to have agreed to part with a club-record £52m in order to land the highly-rated striker, who is yearning for regular first-team action.
Chelsea were previously deemed favourites to sign the Los Blancos graduate before the club's hierarchy switched their attention to re-signing former player Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
