Spurs, Everton to battle for Harry Maguire
Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will reportedly do battle for the services of wantaway defender Harry Maguire from Hull City this summer.
The 24-year-old played a key role under former boss Marco Silva in the second half of the season, but this was not sufficient to avoid the Premier League drop.
Maguire has just 13 months left on his previous deal with the Tigers, and the Championship club are willing to cash in on his services rather than risking him for nothing next term.
According to The People, both Spurs and Toffees are keen on the talented centre-back, who is likely to cost a hefty transfer fee of around £22m.
Managerless Hull are aware of the immense potential in their asset, and they are prepared to make the most of his sale as they look to rebuild a squad capable of attaining top-flight promotion - in the first run.
Maguire appeared in 36 outings for Hull City across all competitions during the recently concluded league season.
