Wenger wants Hatem Ben Arfa
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is most certainly interested in signing French hot prospect Hatem Ben Arfa if he was on the market. His club Lyon are reportedly reluctant to let one of their star players leave.
"If Ben Arfa is for sale, then we are very interested," the Gunners manager told French TV programme Telefoot. "He is a great player and Arsenal is a potential destination for any great player."
Arsenal are known to have a transfer fund set aside for Wenger to spend, believed to be over £25 million.
Ben Arfa could set the Gunners back as much as £18 million as Lyon are keen to hang on to both Ben Arfa and Benzema.
