'They almost created nothing': Rodri reacts to Chelsea's performance vs Man City
Manchester City midfielder Rodri has aimed a dig at Chelsea following the 1-1 Premier League draw at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues produced a spirited performance against the Cityzens and they deserved to come out of the game with a point.
The club could have easily won the game with the chances created. They could have been two or three goals ahead in the first half.
Rodri's late equaliser meant that the spoils were shared. Speaking after the draw, the Spaniard said that the Blues almost created nothing.
He said: "I think we weren’t great in the first half. We conceded another easy goal. I think we have to defend better. They almost created nothing in the first half."
With the result, the Cityzens have dropped to third in the table with 53 points. They are four points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand.
Elsewhere, the Blues remain 10th in the standings after the stalemate, but they are within two points of Newcastle United, who are seventh.
