Man Utd lining up surprise move for Bayern star?

Manchester United could make a surprise move to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich this summer.

The Red Devils have had a disappointing Premier League campaign and they are currently sixth in the league standings.

The club have been disappointing in an attacking point of view while they have also lacked control in the midfield.

Casemiro has had a difficult campaign with several injuries while he has also struggled to find consistency when fit.

The Brazilian has been fancied to leave in the summer. Sport claim that United are eyeing a surprise deal for Kimmich.

Kimmich will enter the final year of his contract with Bayern in July. As things stand, no contract talks are planned.

The midfielder is prepared to pursue a new challenge with Bayern ready to sell, but United are not front-runners at the moment.

Kimmich has a preference to join Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City in the Premier League. United will need to convince him.
