Arsenal no longer interested in Everton star

Arsenal are no longer interested in landing the signature of Everton midfielder Amadou Onana this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Belgian has been long linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium and it it was claimed in January that they could make an offer.
However, no proposal was made to the Toffees and Ornstein does not believe the Gunners will follow up their interest in the summer.
The reputed journalist claims that Onana is appreciated within the hierarchy, but he does not fit into the profile the club are after.
It is well known that manager Mikel Arteta likes Martin Zubimendi and Ornstein feels the Gunners could sign the Spaniard or any other number six.
The news could be a boost for the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, who are also admirers of the Belgium international.
Onana has been fully committed to the Toffees over the last two seasons, but he is likely to pursue a new challenge soon.
