Marc Crosas
Seen as a similar type of player as new Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola; Marc Crosas is fast becoming one of the most respected young central midfielders in Europe. Currently on loan from Barca to Lyon, Crosas has shown flashes of skill this year already.
Crosas' future is still uncertain at Lyon and he could well return to Barcelona, which he has already stated is his long term ambition: "I leave with the intention to return. That is my objective."
Crosas was allowed to join Lyon as he had so many other players ahead of him at the Camp Nou; Deco, Iniesta and Yaya Toure; and of course Xavi - another player that Crosas is regularly compared to.
Crosas has been training close to Juninho Pernambucano in order to improve his development at Lyon.
It is unsure where Crosas will be spending 2008/2009, but clubs such as Liverpool are also interested in the midfielder.
Spain continues to reel out top class central midfielders, and Cesc Fabregas, Fran Merida, Xabi Alonso and his other Barcelona team mates are evidence of this.
Crosas is sure to be one of the most valuable midfielders in Europe in the future, and many clubs admire him for his perfect passing abilities and tenacious defensive duties.
