We want only one player - Sir Alex
Manchester United boos, Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that he and the club will buy only one player in the summer transfer window. Fergie also hopes that Ronaldo will stay.
The champions of europe has tough time ahead, with their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on the verge of a Real Madrid move, and their major mission will be to hold him. The Man Utd boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, hinted that he wants to add only one player to the current squad.
The Euro 2008 has given rise to a number of stars and the clubs are chasing a few of them. Sir Alex said that the Euro acted as a break to the transfer activity and nothing happened when the tournament was on.
He said that as the Euro is over now, managers will be bidding for players and trying to lure them to their club. When asked about the players that Man Utd are eyeing, he said that they want to sign only one player this season.
"I wouldn’t think we would buy any more than one player. We are looking at one or two things.
"People think it's easy to buy players nowadays. But it's not because money plays a big part first of all."
