Pastore to join Chelsea next week?

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that Man City, Chelsea and Roma are all chasing star player Javier Pastore's signature this summer, but would not reveal who is winning the race for the player. However, eyefootball can exclusively reveal that Pastore is set for talks in London with Chelsea on Thursday and is expected to sign for the Blues.

Pastore has been linked with several clubs this summer in a £33m deal, but Palermo have yet to accept any offers just yet.



But a report has been circulating on Sunday morning that Chelsea have reached "an agreement in principle" with Palermo regarding a transfer, and the striker is due for talks in London next week.



"I cannot say who has the advantage between Chelsea, Manchester City or Roma. I can only underline that I'm interested in cash deals," Palermo's president Maurizio Zamparini declared.



"We are at the final stages and will evaluate the offers on Tuesday. When we see which the real proposals are, then we can go forward."
