Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta heaped praise on Noni Madueke after the club's 1-0 Premier League win over Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners had to work hard for the three points against the Tigers and eventually bagged the winner through Martin Odegaard.
Madueke played a big part in the goal. His initial shot rebounded into Odegaard's path to break the deadlock in the 72nd minute.
Madueke went on to squander two big chances, but the Englishman was still brilliant against the Tigers.
He had a tremendous work rate over 90 minutes, and Arteta was no doubt pleased by his performance.
He said after the game: "He wasn’t going to accept that situation [on limited minutes before the last international break], he meant business, and since then he has been incredible."
Arsenal have moved six points clear at the top of the table after Manchester City suffered a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest away from home.
