Kanoute signs new deal

Sevilla's star striker Fredi Kanoute has signed a new deal with his club.The Mali international has been linked with a number of European clubs this summer, including a £5.5m offer from an English side.

He has now pledged his future to Sevilla, penning a deal that ties him to the club until 2010.



Kanoute, who joined Sevilla from Tottenham in 2005, has so far scored 43 goals in 96 appearances for the Spanish club.
