Tottenham midfielder Rafael van der Vaart could be sold in January, after AC Milan were linked with a 14m GBP move for the Dutch midfielder.
Van der Vaart has struggled with an injury early on in the season, but appears to have shown some frustration after the partnership of Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor kept van der Vaart on the sidelines.
AC Milan are also aware that van der Vaart had been left out of Tottenham's Europa League squad after a troublesome injury.
