FA chairman David Bernstein has not yet started looking for a replacement for Fabio Capello, who is stepping down from his job next summer.
Bernstein said: "It is not something on our agenda at the moment.
"We are completely behind Fabio. You cannot be half-pregnant with these things."
Arsene Wenger had been linked with the role yesterday, whilst Harry Redknapp appears to be the favorite to take the role once that it becomes available.
