Arsenal are on the brink of completing a move for Real Madrid's Spanish starlet Jose Rodriguez, after a deal was agreed with Real Madrid.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • The Spain U-17 international was voted the player of the tournament at the U-17 World Club Championship, impressing Francisco Cagigao, Arsenal's chief scout in Spain.

Jon Miquel Toral and Hector Bellerin both arrived at Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer, and they also have Ignasi Miquel who is an U-19 European champion with Spain.

Rodriguez recently spent two days in London, where he was shown the youth team living quarters and the rest of the club. Arsenal have apparently made an offer that will see him progerss to the youth side to the reserves and from there to the first team in just two years.

It is said that the player was advised by Cesc Fabregas to make the move to the Emirates.
