Balotelli sets house on fire

22 October 2011 - 18:02

Mario Balotelli has come into the limelight for the wrong reasons yet again as he set his house on fire by letting off fireworks in his bathroom!

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Balotelli's personality has caused many problems at any club he has been in. After finally making it to the starting line up under Roberto Mancini, it seems that he has taken two steps backwards with his latest act of madness.

Although he escaped unhurt, he will have to give Roberto Mancini an explanation on what possessed him to play with fireworks in his own home, that too on the eve of the Manchester Derby.

Two fire crews were required to douse the flames and stayed at the scene till 2:30 am. It is said that Balotelli was reluctant to leave his belongings behind, and even ran back in once to get a quantity of money and a suitcase.

Balotelli has had various disciplinary problems in the past, ranging from speeding while driving to accidentally breaking into a women's prison. He was also seen adorning an AC Milan jersey while with rivals Inter Milan and has had numerous confrontations with both former manager Jose Mourinho and current manager Roberto Mancini.
