Roberto Mancini looks set to be rewarded with a new contract at Manchester City, with talk of a 5.5m GBP per year bumper contract at the Etihad Stadium.
City's best ever start to a Premier League season sees them at the top of the table by five points already.
Should Mancini agree terms with City on a new deal, he will be one of the best paid managers in the Premier League, on a par with Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson.
Talks are expected to be wrapped up in the next two weeks.
