Arsene Wenger has just one name on his January shopping list, according to reports from Germany, and that is FC Koln striker Lukas Podolski. The German international is being chased by Arsenal as part of a mega money 22m GBP deal.
The Gunners were rumoured to be tracking Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Goetze, but the German club warned off Wenger, insisting that the midfield maestro is not available at any price.
A German report suggests that Arsenal will instead turn to Lukas Podolski, who Wenger wants to bring to the Emirates to put pressure on Robin van Persie for the second half of the season.
