Preview: Tottenham vs Bolton

Preview: Tottenham vs Bolton

03 December 2011 - 10:01

A surprising Europa League defeat to Greek minnows PAOK Salonika in midweek put the breaks on Tottenham's stunning start to the season, but White Hart Lane will be in full voice for the visit of Bolton today, with Spurs hoping to leapfrog Man Utd into 2nd place in the Premier League.

  • Chelsea set to sign midfielder after Danny Welbeck
  • Chelsea confirm striker transfer on two-year deal
  • Eight wins and one draw - stunning form for Tottenham in their last nine games - the impressive Ledley King has marshalled Spurs' defence whilst Emmanuel Adebayor scored the goals to fire them into 3rd in the league. Meanwhile, the player of the month for November, Scott Parker, has proved an inspired signing for Spurs.

Bolton haven't won at White Hart Lane since 2004, and this year the Trotters have not looked like the Wanderers of old as they sit in 18th and in the relegation zone this year.

    TEAMS
Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Niko Kranjcar are all missing for Tottenham.
Nigel Reo-Coker is likely to be missing for Bolton.

    EYEFOOTBALL PREDICTION
    Tottenham 1-0 Bolton

    FIRST GOALSCORER
    Emmanuel Adebayor
