Tottenham track Craig Forrest; but yet to bid

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp admitted that he sent scouts to watch Celtic's 20 year old winger Craig Forrest in action, but denied that Spurs have made an offer. Redknapp sent chief scout Ian Broomfield to watch the player in action last week.

  • The Scottish international has become an important member of the first team for Neil Lennon's side, but at this time Spurs have yet to make an official offer for the player.<br />

    "He’s a good player but we’ve not made any bids. If we did, I would speak to Neil Lennon," said Redknapp.<br />

    "He’s a player we’ve had watched but he belongs to Celtic.<br />

    "At the moment, we’re not in the market to really do anything. We’re looking at a few options but nothing definite."
