Celtic chase permanent Fraser Forster deal

Celtic chase permanent Fraser Forster deal

11 February 2012 - 08:22

Celtic are hoping to complete a permanent move for on loan goalkeeper Fraser Forster. Forster is currently playing in Scotland  with the Glasgow giants, but is largely expected to return back to England at the end of the year. Celtic manager Neil Lennon wants to extend Forster's spell at Celtic Park though.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • "We have had communication with his agent, I've had a chat with Fraser this morning and we hope we can get something sorted out in the near future," said Lennon.<br />

"You are never confident on these things but we have made our approach and told him how we see things and that we want him here. It is basically down to his agent, himself and Peter (Lawwell, chief executive) to get a contract resolved."<br />

At Newcastle, Forster would find first team football difficult to find due to the impressive form of Dutch number 1 Tim Krul.
