Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to bring in Dutch legend Louis van Gaal to take charge at Stamford Bridge. According to a report from the Sunday Mirror, Van Gaal is the perfect candidate to take over as Chelsea's permanent coach at the end of the season.
Chelsea are currently keeping the faith with Andre Villas-Boas' number two, Roberto di Matteo, but are expected to hand the job to someone else at the end of the season.
Roman Abramovich is believed to be desperate to bring in a manager with huge experience and with success at the highest level, and van Gaal would certainly tick all of the boxes after his spells with Barcelona.
Van Gaal has been out of work for over a year, and is desperate to try his luck in the Premier League.
