Representatives of Chelsea and Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini met this week in London to discuss the possibility of the Chilean manager taking over the Blues' hotseat at the end of the season.
Interim manager Rafa Benitez is set to step down at the end of the year, leaving the door open for the former Villarreal manager Pellegrini to come in.
