Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli told reporters that he was unsurprised Roberto Mancini has been fired from his job at the Etihad Stadium. Rumours emerged that the Italian had fallen out with several people at the club.
"I am not really surprised," said Balotelli when asked about Mancini's sacking. "When I was with him he was a great manager and we had the best, I think, one of the best teams I have played with.
"I don't know why they didn't win. But obviously there were some problems inside - I don't know. I am here so I don't know."
