Liverpool have sent representatives to Ukraine to discuss a possible transfer for Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The talented attacking midfielder scored 25 goals in 28 games for Shakhtar last season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and is valued at around&nbsp;&pound;24 million by the Ukrainian side. Chelsea are also rumoured to be monitoring the 24-year-old.<br />

There had been reports that Liverpool would be forced to sell Luis Suarez to accommodate Henrikh, but this has been denied by sources at Anfield.
