Arsenal on red alert as Gourcuff opens exit talks

07 June 2013 - 01:21

Yoann Gourcuff has put the Gunners on red alert after admitting that he could look for a fresh challenge elsewhere. The Lyon attacking midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Arsene Wenger is a huge fan of the playmaker, but recently turned his attentions to Clement Grenier.
The player has now opened talk of a potential move again.
"If clubs are interested and interesting, I don't close the door on anything at all," tsaid Gourcuff.
"The most important thing is to play, but I have to look at the sporting project, whether they count on me, the means that we're given to succeed, and if they have clear ideas which don't change after a defeat.
"I have a certain idea of football, a philosophy on how to play, I know in which conditions I can flourish and in which I can't. That's what counts most even if the economic aspect also comes into the equation."
