Man Utd boss Moyes has £60m budget

15 June 2013 - 09:00

Manchester United manager David Moyes has been guaranteed a massive £60m budget to spend on new players. United are set to reinforce their squad with at least three more signings.

  • Chelsea have agreed terms with English winger
  • Arsenal step up contract talks with experienced star

  • Since Moyes took over at Old Trafford he has been quietly scouring the market for players that will make a real difference to his squad. The solo signing of Guillermo Valera is the only foray that the former Everton coach has made into the market to date.

However United fans can rest assured that there will be more to come.

Moyes appears to be prioritizing a midfield signing to cover for the now retired Paul Scholes.

Meanwhile, Patrice Evra also is someone Moyes is looking to replace in the next 12 months, so a left back is still a priority. Defender Leighton Baines remains the favorite.

With £60m guaranteed to spend, there will be plenty of movement over the coming weeks.
