Verratti To Stay At PSG

16 June 2013 - 04:35

Marco Verratti has downplayed all the reports and rumours linking him to a Paris Saint-Germain exit this year. Reports earlier linked him to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The 20 year old, Verratti, who showed some real potential in the midfield, has left no if-but clauses left to trigger new rumours. It was earlier said that the Italian international may follow his present coach and a fellow Italian, Carlo Ancelotti to the La Liga. Carlo is strongly set to take control at Real Madrid as a successor of Jose Mourinho.

"My future isn't tied to the coach's. I am very happy in Paris; we'll see what happens in future, but for now I want to stay at PSG." - Verratti.

He also revealed that Ancelloti leaving the club has left him sad and happy both. The latter, because he would be joining a big club, Real Madrid. Verratti joined the club PSG in 2012, from his former owners, Pescara.
