Real's new manager Ancelotti, is eager to make a move for the Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney whose future is in doubt at Old Trafford, if he doesn’t patch things up in then next couple of days.

According to reports in Spain, Rooney’s would prefer join Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea rather than move to a new league which he is not familiar with, but if he does leave the country , his perfect option would be the Los Blancos.

In comparison with Arsenal and Chelsea, Real Madrid have sufficient funds to pay the £30 million which would cost to acquire the striker as well as match his £250,000 weekly wage.
