Newcastle keen on Loic Remy move

09 July 2013 - 07:01

Newcastle United will make a move for French striker Loic Remy this summer. Alan Pardew wants to bolster his strike force with a move for the QPR striker, who is eager to leave the Championship side.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • It is understood that Newcastle are ready to offer a player plus cash deal for Remy, that would see defender Steven Taylor heading the opposite way. Newcastle have switched their attentions to Remy after missing out on Arouna Kone, who joined Everton yesterday from Wigan.

Taylor is wanted by QPR as a replacement for Christopher Samba, who joined his former club Anzhi in Russia last week.
