  • The Juventus midfielder is regarded as one of the hot prospects across Europe after blossoming since his move to the Serie A club.

He joined the turin outfit after spending four years with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in 2011.

Real Madrid have made a bid in the region of £36m to test the Serie A side's resolve with a promise of a very enticing five-year-deal at the Bernabeu.

Arsenal have been monitoring the player and have been linked with a switch for the Chilean for a couple of years now.

New Real Madrid Carlo Ancelloti wants to strengthen his midfield and 26-year-old Arturo Vidal is at the top of his list.
