Everton want Chelsea's Victor Moses on loan

The new Everton manager Roberto Martinez is looking have a reunion with Chelsea forward Victor Moses as he looks to tempt the player on a switch to Goodison Park on loan.

  • The Nigerian International was sold to Chelsea from Wigan Athletic last season, when Martinez was the manager for the Latics for a fee of £9million. Moses was always behind the likes of Hazard, Mata and Oscar in the first team for the Stamford Bridge side and the signing of Andre Schurrle has further dented his chances of a starting place.<br />

    The 22-year-old forward provide some much needed cover to the team when he played as the Blues salvaged an under-par season and ended on a high note by winning the Europa League.<br /><br />The arrival of Jose Mourinho has meant that the Nigerian's chances in the starting line-up with be thick and thin to come, as the 'Special One' does not regard the player due to his inconsistency.<br /><br />Moses can easily acquire a starting spot in a much less competitive squad with the Toffees. Moses has notched up 6 goals and assisted once in 20 league matches last term for the West London club.
