Liverpool Would Consider Suarez Sale If Valuation Is Met

22 July 2013 - 18:28

It appears that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has accepted the fact that convincing Luis Suarez to stay at Anfield is not going to be an easy task if his valuation is met by some club. Rodgers revealed that Suarez could leave the club if a suitable offer is received.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • The coveted striker arrived at Melbourne on Sunday to make his first-team return against Melbourne Victory. He was on an extended holiday due to involvement in the Confederations Cup.

Suarez has been pretty outspoken regarding his desire to leave Liverpool, triggering several clubs’ interest in signing him. The Gunners are determined to land the Uruguayan this transfer season, as Arsene Wenger is ready to test Liverpool’s resolve with an improved bid of 40million pounds.

Rodgers had been reluctant to part with his prized asset, even though the 26-year-old has been discontent with his Liverpool stay.

"The reality is that he's a player who is very much valued at Liverpool and unless there's any sort of offer that comes in that is anywhere near his value, there's nothing to consider, and we haven't had that," Rodgers told the club's official website.
