Barcelona monitoring Man City Whizkid Suarez

28 July 2013 - 16:37

According to Spanish daily Marca, La Liga giants Barcelona are planning to make a move for talented Manchester City starlet Denis Suarez.

The talented youngster impressed many across the world playing for Spain at the Under-20 World Cup held in Turkey this year and his excellent performances have lured the interest from the mighty Catalan side.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Marca suggest that the Catalans are looking to lure the 19-year-old to the Nou Camp before competition for the player adds up. The Catalans have offered the starlet a four-year deal that would see Denis Suarez spend a year in the reserve side and the other three in the first team and they are currently waiting for response from the player's agent.

Denis Suarez joined the Citizens of Manchester from Celta Vigo in 2011, but hasn't yet made a first team league appearance and Barcelona would be hoping to sign the player on a cut-price deal.
