Newcastle midfielder Cabaye not joining PSG

Paris St Germain manager Laurent Blanc has ruled out a move for French midfielder Yohan Cabaye. The Newcastle player has been long linked with a move away from St. James' Park.

The news will come as a major relief for Newcastle fans, who had expected Cabaye would eventually leave the club in favour of a move elsewhere. However, it is now understood that the Toon Army are considering a new contract for Cabaye.<br />

"Right now, I&rsquo;d say no,&rdquo; PSG manager Laurent Blanc said.&nbsp;"But depending on how much we trim the squad by, it&rsquo;s possible that we might take one extra player."
