Borussia Dortmund produced a stern display to beat a resilient Werder Bremen side and go top of the Bundesliga, and maintained their perfect start to the league this season.

Robert Lewandowski's tap from close range after a Marco Reus cross was the only goal of the match after 10 minutes from the start of the second half, with Nuri Sahin missing from a volley and substitute Pierre Emerick Aubameyang missing some chances as well.<br />
