Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that the club's star-striker Christian Benteke will miss out on the Capital One cup match against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
The Belgian striker was forced off the field as a result of a hip injury during Villa's 1-0 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road.<br /><br />Lambert has admitted that he is unsure of the extent of Benteke's injury, but suggested that he will use a squad rotation policy when the club face off agains Spurs at Villa Park in the Capital One cup on Tuesday night.
Lambert said on the club's website : <em>"We are waiting for the scan today and then waiting for the results so we will just have to wait and see (how long he will be out for)," </em><br />
<em>"I've got to make changes for tomorrow, that's for sure, because I've got a lot of injuries at the minute and Saturday's [game against Manchester City] is massive for us as well."</em>
