Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that Luis Suarez's return to first team action will make Daniel Sturridge a much "better player".
The England International has scored all the goals for the Reds in their Premier League campaign, as the club were without Luis Suarez due to his 10-game ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

Rodgers told reporters: "I think [Suarez's return] will only improve Daniel. It will only make him a better player. Good players want to play with other good players and I think you'll see how they perform together.

"They can be a real threat. It's not something Daniel or anyone else should be worried about. I think the focus is on the team and for the team to do well."

Suarez is expected to start in his first league fixture against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
