Inter Milan are planning a busy January transfer window and it is understood that a move for Sunderland's Italian international winger Emanuele Giaccherini is their top priority.
The Italian has impressed in the short time he has spent at the struggling Premier League club; with manager Gus Poyet eager to keep hold of the right midfielder for the remainder of the campaign.<br />
However, Giaccherini is known to be frustrated that former manager Paolo Di Canio has been fired and is now ready to return to his homeland.<br />
Sunderland are preparing themselves for a bid from Inter and have reportedly priced a transfer away for Giaccherini at around <span style="color: #000000; font-family: Times; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; display: inline ! important; float: none;">£5.5 million.
