Arsenal's Spanish left-back Nacho Monreal is reportedly being targeted by a number of La Liga sides, with Valencia considered favourites to sign the talented defender during the winter transfer window.
Monreal has found himself on the fringes of the first-team during the early stages of the Premier League, having seen Kieran Gibbs stay fit and in-form to nail down a regular starting berth at left-back.
The 27-year-old is considering his options, as he requires more chances to impress in the upcoming months in order to warrant a place in the Spanish national side for next year's World Cup finals in Brazil.
However, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is not keen on selling Monreal, as he considers him as key member for the North London outfit, after using the former Malaga regular 16 times so far this season.
In spite of not playing regular football, Spain manager Vicente del Bosque kept Monreal in his squad for the friendly internationals in Africa last week.
