La Liga champions Barcelona will reportedly make a move for a Premier League centre-back during the winter transfer window.
Reports in Spain suggest that the Catalan giants have shortlisted four players for the centre-back role from the Premier League, with the names yet to be disclosed.<br />
Barca manager Gerardo Martino is keen on finding a replacement for veteran defender Carlos Puyol whose closing in on retirement from an illustrious career and the form of fellow Spanish International Gerard Pique has prompted the Spanish champions in scouting for a new centre-back.<br />
The Sport reports that Chelsea's David Luiz and Liverpool's Daniel Agger are among the players in the transfer shortlist, with the club also monitoring the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Vermaelen.
