Fraser Forster wanted by Stoke City

15 December 2013 - 08:07

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes could make a move for Celtic's goalkeeper Fraser Forster in the January transfer window. Asmir Begovic, Stoke's current first choice keeper, has been linked with a move away leaving the Potters looking for a possible replacement.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Forster has previously admitted that he will consider leaving the Scottish Premier League if it is to help his international career. Since making his debut for the England national side, many have tipped a return South of the border and numerous teams have expressed some interest.

However, with Asmir Begovic of Stoke linked with a transfer to Europe, there remains some uncertainty regarding the long term future of Forster, who has a short period left on his Celtic contract to run.
