This development comes amid rumors that top clubs in England are trying to prize away the 29-year-old midfielder. David Moyes appears to be a huge admirer and was looking to sign the Spaniard this January after failed attempts to sign Cesc Fabregas last summer.<br />
Latest reports from Spain suggest that the La Liga leaders have secured a deal that keeps the Spanish International at the club till 2017 trying to fend off any potential suitors in the coming weeks. Iniesta has made 23 appearances and scored once in all competitions so far this season.
