Chelsea sign Burkina Faso youngster Bertrand Traore

Chelsea have completed the signing of Burkina Faso attacking midfielder Bertrand Traore on a four-and-a-half-year-deal.

The talented 18-year-old, who had a trial with the West London club in the summer, agreed to join the Blues in October, but the move could not be completed until the transfer window reopened.<br />

Traore insisted that he was happy to have joined the club and have the opportunity to play alongside some of his favorite players.<br />

"My favourite players are Juan Mata, Mesut Ozil and Eden Hazard," Traore said."They're very good players and I am trying to be like them. At Chelsea I look to follow the way of some African legends like Didier Drogba, Michael Essien and now Samuel Eto'o."<br />

Traore has been capped 11 times by the Burkina Faso senior side.
