Manchester United are reportedly set to make a transfer offer for Chelsea midfield star Juan Mata, should he be available for sale in January.
The Blues manager Jose Mourinho has been coy on the Spaniard's future with the West London club in recent weeks.
Manchester United were linked with a move for the talented playmaker during the summer, and according to Manchester Evening News, manager David Moyes is closely tracking Mata's transfer situation.
Mata has featured in 17 matches for the Blues in all competitions this season, with most of his game time coming from the substitute's bench.
