Everton have successfully completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international Aiden McGeady from Spartak Moscow this afternoon in a deal worth a reported £5.5 million.

The former Celtic man was considered to be close to a move to Goodison Park in the past week, with the Merseyside outfit keen on boosting their midfield options in the winter transfer window.<br />
