Radamel Falcao: happy at Monaco

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao not ready for Chelsea move

18 January 2014 - 08:35

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has laughed off talk of a move away from Ligue 1 to the Premier League, amidst rumours of a potential transfer bid from Chelsea. Falcao seems happy to stay at his current club.

  • Chelsea beat Inter Milan to sign £47m Italian star
  • Tottenham finally agree terms with Man Utd target
  • The Blues have been long looking for a striker to lead their front line and were recently linked with a move for Colombia international Radamel Falcao, who only joined Monaco from Atletico Madrid last summer.

Despite the rumours, Falcao has denied talk of a move to England and insists that his long term future remains at the Ligue 1 side: "Would I like to play with Mourinho? I’d never considered it. As of today it doesn’t seem possible, as we are on two very different paths and I have a five-year contract with Monaco.

"But Mourinho is a coach with a fantastic career, the titles that he has won speak for him and nobody can deny his capabilities."
